The PO-based bag film has an initial sealing point (SIP) of 85°C. This means that the seal seam strength is already given at low temperatures and that the process temperature window is almost comparable to that of a conventional mixed laminate. Compared to an early-sealing, conventional composite, the SIP has been reduced by 15°C. Compared to a standard mixed laminate, it has even been reduced by 25°C. This means that this recyclable solution achieves good packaging performance.

The PO-based top film offers a temperature resistance that is 25°C higher than previous polyolefin solutions. At the same time, the initial opening force (peel force) has been reduced by 20%. This increases the process temperature window on the one hand and reduces severe deformation when opening the softer polyolefin thermoforming film on the other hand.
